	Page Yield
	The amount of pages given by the OEM that a full cartridge will print.

	A company that prints precise color match material used by the ink industry as standards for research and manufacturing.

	Paper Feed
	The part of the printer that moves paper through a printer while the image is being printed or transferred.

	Particulates
	Pieces of material or contaminants from various sources found in ink.

	Penetrant
	An ingredient added to the ink that assists in the penetration or setting of the impression into the substrate.

	pH
	pH is a measure of the acidity or basicity of a solution.

	Photo Quality
	This term is used in the printer industry to describe the photographic type quality being addressed by some printers.

	Pico Liter
	A unit of volume.

	A single element within a digital photograph.

	Plug Pusher
	A tool use when refilling cartridges that pushes plugs out of the way allowing a pathway for needles to fill the cartridge.

	PPM
	Parts permillion ("ppm") denotes one particle of a given substance for every 999,999 other particles.

	Pre-Chamber
	A channel or “chimney” that holds the ink prior to its delivery to printhead.

	Prime Printhead
	To apply vacuum to the printhead using suction to remove air and or start the flow of ink.

	Print Driver
	The software that enables the operating system to properly build and format commands and data bound for the printer.

	Print Quality
	A qualitative description of how pleasing printed output looks.

	Print Resolution
	The quantity of data capable of being printed, typically measured in dots per inch (dpi).
