Not only do you get hands-on training, as well as printed training materials to take home with you, but a question and answer session that follows the training provides the time needed for expert answers to any specific questions you might have. In addition, the many seminars offered on marketing and other business related topics could give you a jump-start on growing a successful business.

We saw the formation in 1996 of many state associations in support of rechargers from their respective states. In addition, many suppliers and vendors are joining these associations. Often, when association meetings are taking place, many of the vendor members assemble to put on a sort of mini trade show. Workshops and seminars are also frequently part of association meetings. The benefits of membership, especially to startups, are substantial and highly recommended. Any opportunity to assemble with others in the same business should be pursued. Take advantage of the workshops. Meet your suppliers and vendors face to face. Get to know other entrepreneurs, listen to the advice they give, and benefit from the experiences of others trying to do the same thing you are.
