The UltraPro CX2i, was designed for automated filling and emptying ink cartridges. It features two fill stations and two vacuum emptying stations. It uses air pressure to operate the cylinders that fill the cartridges and special vacuum pumps for emptying them. An optional feature is available to prime cartridges. Ink dosage is adjustable between 5 to 45 cc. Cartridge cradles for popular HP, Lexmark, Dell and Canon cartridges allow this to be a very versatile machine making it an exceptional return on your investment. Constructed from epoxy powder-coated aluminum, this machine will compliment any facility.
Like all R-Jet Tek filling systems it includes our exclusive pressure filling technology. Unlike competitive machine that require a high CFM air supply, the R-Jet Tek systems can operate using a small 1 hp air compressor with a 1 gallon tank and perform like a champ.
An option on the UltraPro CX2i is the automatic cartridge pressurization system. It is used exclusively for the HP 51626/29 type cartridges to vacuum air from the cartridge printhead thus setting the check ball in the maze and preventing leaking. It also helps eliminate pre-chamber air locks. If this option is not selected a special cradle can be used to perform the task manually. The UltraPro CX2i is a high production machine on which up to 120 cartridges can be filled per station per hour.
