The R-Jet Tek CentraSpin II is an essential component for any size production environments. One key condition for re-processing a better cartridge, lowering rejects and increasing profits is the cartridge-conditioning phase. The CentraSpin II excels at emptying and cleaning cartridges and preparing them for refilling.
Using powerful centrifugal force, the CentraSpin II thoroughly empties old inks and liquids from used cartridges. The CentraSpin II also flushes printhead nozzles when injected with cleaning fluid, DI, RO water or ink with the cartridges positioned printhead out.
The number of cartridges that fit in the CentraSpin II will depend on the size of the cartridge. Each CentraSpin II includes 2 Flex Platters for placing multiple layers of cartridges: up to 3 layers of cartridges can be added. For the HP78 type cartridges up to 12 cartridges per cycle can be processed. For the HP56/57 series cartridges up to 64 cartridges per cycle can be processed with the addition of 2 additional Flex Platters.
To use the CentraSpin II simply layer cartridges on the
Flex platters inside the drum. Latch the lid to start
the spin cycle. Let cartridges spin for approximately
four minutes and unlatch the lid to stop the spin cycle.
The CentraSpin II spins at 3100 rpm and the CentraSpin II D/S offers a 3100* rpm standard cycle and a 2000-rpm gentle cycle. (220
