The Mini-Clean-Vac i was designed to perform both a clean and evacuation process. It features two clean stations and two evacuation stations. It cleans by heating water or cleaning solution and pumping it into the cartridge through the nozzles. After the solution is inside, the cartridge is removed from the cleaning cradle and placed in the evacuation cradle where vacuum pressure is created to remove the ink or solution. This process aids in wetting and suspending the pigment material frequently found in the 29A cartridges. Like all of the FLUIDIX equipment it supports cartridge cradles for the most popular cartridges. This same process is used in the UltraClean-Vac and WorkS tation 6i, and 12i.
