R-Jet Tek to Offer New OCP Ink Products
to Their North American Customers

(Colorado Springs, CO) October 6, 2005 – R-Jet Tek, the Colorado Springs-based resource for inkjet remanufacturing machines, systems, supplies and inks, will be handling several new inkjet inks manufactured by OCP GmbH of Hattingen, Germany. R-Jet Tek is OCP’s exclusive North American distributors.

Announced by OCP at the 2005 World Expo trade show held August 24-25 in Las Vegas, the new inks were developed to keep pace with the rapidly changing inkjet printer market.
The new design of the HP Vivera Photosmart 8250 represents the company’s first product eliminating the disposable concept printhead. The printer now uses an integrated printhead with a tube delivery system and six separate ink tanks. These are dye-based and not pigment inks and OCP has developed quality inks for remanufacturing cartridges for this new product. The new “V-Edition” inks for the HP Photosmart 8250 include Black LC, Black HC, Cyan, Cyan Light, Yellow, Magenta and Magenta Light.

R-Jet Tek will also be carrying the new OCP inks designed for the Epson Stylus Photo 2100 printer. These quality pigment inks are suitable for refilling OEM cartridges and for producing compatible, offering the same color gamut and UV stability as OEM inks, as well as perfect adhesion on matte, glossy, micro- and nonporous photo papers. The inks for the Epson Photo Stylus 2100 are available in all eight colors. 

OCP photo-grey inks are now available for the HP 102 cartridge, which works with the HP Photosmart 8750, designed for high-volume, quality photo printing.
Matching the same color gamut as the OEM product, OCP inks are now available for the eight-color Epson Stylus Photo R800 and R1800 cartridges. These pigmented inks match the OEM products for UV-stability and gloss.

With their conversion to Piezo technology, Brother printers are becoming a bigger player in the competitive inkjet marketplace. As a result, OCP has released inks for remanufacturing the LC600, LC700, LC800 and LC900 cartridges.
