During the HP 23/78 cartridge cleaning and spinning process in the CentraClean 4i, the sponges in the cartridge may move towards the top of the cartridge resulting in a loss of contact with the ink screen in the bottom of the cartridge.
To correct this situation, R-Jet Tek has developed a platter that allows the cartridge to spin with the print head facing out. The spin only cycle forces the sponges down so that the sponges contact the screen in the bottom of the chamber. |
