R-Jet Tek Names Victor Johnson Director of Communications

(Colorado Springs, CO) August 22, 2004 –R-Jet Tek announces the promotion of Victor Johnson to the position of director of communications for the Colorado Springs-based company. Johnson, who has been with the company since its founding will be responsible for all the company’s external communications., including print collateral and coordinating all advertising and training materials. He will also be in charge of R-Jet Tek’s trade exhibit booth, coordinating graphics, shipping and set-up/tear down. In his new position, Johnson, brother of chairman and CTO Steve Johnson, will also handle website development and deployment.

Company president and CEO Mike Warner says, “We needed an experienced, one-person clearinghouse for coordinating all of our communication needs. Vic’s extensive knowledge of a broad range of computer applications allows us to do in-house what many other companies must out-source at much higher costs.”

Johnson, a Microsoft certified systems engineer, will also oversee the company’s computer network and PBX phone system. He is the author of “The Ink Jet Guide for Entrepreneurs,” one of the industry’s first how-to manuals for individuals setting up an ink jet re-manufacturing business. Warner adds, “A huge plus for us is his experience using wide-format ink jet printers, and the RIP software needed to run them.
