Here are some helpful tips on using our replacement chips for HP Cartridges:

• They are not resettable.
• Operators handling these chips need to be grounded with wrist or ankle static guard to prevent ESD (ElectroStatic Descharge).
• The HP 4844 is high capacity and the 4840 is standard and they use different chips.
• Testing the chips in printers will activate the chip (and activate the countdown for the chip’s shelf life).
