Is the abbreviation for de-ionized water.
De-ionized water is used when remanufacturing inkjet cartridges due
to fact that tap water contains ions, minerals, and other chemicals
that can damage the cartridge and contaminate the ink. When cleaning
cartridges using a Universal Flush System or the EZClean, DI water should
be used.
