Participants at World Expo'98 visiting the R-Jet Tek booth were able to see the company's newest product for ink jet cartridge remanufacturing, the R-Jet Tek WorkStation-12. An all-inclusive cleaning and filling machine for the most popular Hewlett-Packard, Canon and Lexmark cartridges. This is the only machine of its type available on the market today.
According to Mike Warner, president of JetEx, distributor of the equipment, "During the past year, several companies asked us to offer one machine that will clean and fill all of the popular cartridges — and we responded." The WorkStation-12 has four independent fill stations, vacuums and steam stations. It is equipped with a cartridge docking station to fit the Hewlett-Packard 51626A/29A, 40/45A; the Canon BC01/02 and the Lexmark 4076 type cartridges. Additional docking stations can be ordered to allow simultaneious filling of up to four cartridges of the same type. The R-Jet Tek WorkStation-12 also feature a self-contained quiet air compressor, operator adjustable air regulators for each filling station, quick release ink supply and waste hose connectors, steam-on-demand generators, and an evacuation system that pulls up to 23 inches mercury.
The self-contained WorkStation-12 works for both small and large operations. Whether you plan to fill a variety of cartridges on an on-demand basis or volume production this machine fits the need. The machine can process up to 240 cartridges per hour. Set-up is easy. Simply plug in, place the ink supply hoses in your ink and attach to the machine.
Warner said, "We took orders for four machines at World Expo'98 and several more since."
