R-Jet Tek selected World Expo'99 as the venue to introduce its latest ink jet processing equipment to the industry, the WorkStation-5, WorkStation-6 and the MiniClean-Vac.
According to R-Jet Tek Vice President Mike Warner, word of the new equipment traveled the trade show floor quickly and the introduction was a huge success. "We enjoyed very high visitor traffic at our four-booth exhibit through the entire show," he said.
The innovative WorkStation-6 features two independent filling stations, two cleaning stations that pump hot water through the print nozzles and two evacuation stations that vacuum the water, cleaning solution or ink back out of the cartridge through the print nozzles. On closer inspection you see that specific cartridge cradles are mounted to the face so one can process HP15626/29, 40/45, Canon BC01/02 and Lexmark 1380620 cartridges by simply switching the supply hose from one cradle to another. Changing the ink supply takes only seconds due to the quick-connect system.
The WorkStation-5 features one fill station, two clean and two evacuation stations. Both machines incorporate proven features of the ever-popular UltraPro and UltraClean systems.
Last year R-Jet Tek introduced the Work Station-12, which has been especially popular in Europe and South America. After introducing the WorkStation-12, many customers asked for a smaller system that wouldn't require as much of a cash outlay. R-Jet Tek responded. "We expect both machines to enjoy high acceptance," said Warner.
