Colorado Springs-based inkjet technology leader R-Jet Tek, announces the release of the new Super SabreJet. A high volume state of the art inkjet cartridge filling machine capable of filling three of the same, tri-color cartridges in one cycle. Filling is conducted under vacuum conditions and takes approximately 26 seconds depending on the amount of ink filled into the cartridge or up to 2800 per eight-hour shift. Features of the new machine include a touch screen user interface that minimizes operator-learning time and more importantly provides repeatability cycle to cycle. The PLC Touch screen is programmable to provide variable vacuum hold times, ink dispensing times and vacuum release times. Included are a built in vacuum pump and precision ink dispensing pumps. Each of the ink pumps are individually controllable; Precision cradles hold the cartridges and the fill needles are inserted at a precise depth using pneumatics which requires compressed air. The vacuum cabinet is made of nickel-plated aluminum and was designed to be detachable from the main machine in only seconds. The company designed four different cartridge cradles to accommodate the: HP57/95/97 series, the Lexmark 26, Dell/ T0530, Lexmark 42/35/33 Dell 7Y745/M4646 and the Lexmark 80/60/120. Changeover of the vacuum box containing the cradle set takes less than two minutes. The sturdy metal cabinet is painted with blue epoxy paint.
