(Colorado Springs, CO) July 1, 2007 – Colorado Springs based inkjet technology solutions leader R-Jet Tek has designed several new tools to facilitate remanufacturing of black Lexmark and Dell cartridges. These tools include two new hand welders with special screen welding tips, three new screen placement guides and two new screen removal guides. The new lower cost hand-held guides allow the user to position a screen, slide it into the cartridge to correctly position it against the chimney and finally insert a welding device through the guide to attach the screen to the cartridge body. A new welder is now available for the Lexmark 12A 15, 17 et.al., Lexmark 10N and Dell TO529-N5878, as well as two guides for the different cartridge bodies. A welder and guide were developed for the Lexmark 18C 32/34–Dell R5956, T5480, M4640, J5556, MW173, MW175; and the 18L0032 #82 and Dell XO502/7Y743 cartridges that have the rectangular ink chimney with or without dividing baffles inside. Up until now, the cartridges with baffles were unable to utilize the popular press-in screen. Using the R-Jet Tek welder kit it will now be both affordable and easy to remanufacture all of the Lexmark and Dell cartridges.
To facilitate ease in remanufacturing the Lexmark 50 type cartridges, which presently come with the same number (but may or may not have one sponge compartment or one sponge compartment and one empty compartment inside), R-Jet Tek engineered a guide to accommodate both. The previous tool fit only the cartridge with one compartment. According to Andy Martin, sales associate at R-Jet Tek, “We have complete remanufacturing processes and assortment of tools necessary for even the smallest franchise to be able to profitably remanufacture these typically high-margin cartridges. These new tools, combined with our JetPro atomizer, EasyClean sponge flusher, and one of our popular fill machines, such as the EasyFill, SelectJet or SabreJet, combined with OCP ink, our caps and clip solutions will facilitate customers making money while taking care of their customers.
“R-Jet Tek sells products to support remanufacturing of the many different cartridges on the market. The welder has been added to meet the consumer demand along with our other products such as filling, cleaning and evacuating equipment, cartridge clips, color labels, packaging supplies and OCP inks,” says R-jet Tek president, Mike Warner.
