Colorado Springs-based inkjet technology solutions leader R-Jet Tek sales managers Ricardo Gomez and Clayton Sparks recently attended the ReciclaMaisExpo 2004 trade show in Sao Paulo, Brazil June 24-25. The company’s Brazil distributor Win Solutions was exhibiting R-Jet Tek’s line of equipment.
According to Sparks, “ReciclaMaisExpo 2004 was an extraordinary trade show! Lucia Pernambuco of WIN SOLUTIONS estimated that the trade show has more than doubled in size from 2003 to 2004, both in terms of visitors and exhibitors! One can only guess how large it will be next year!” Sparks added, “With over 175,000,000 people living in Brazil, the growth potential in this market is almost unlimited!”
Gomez, who conducted a presentation on how to remanufacture HP 78 cartridges agreed, stating, “I was expecting about 30 or 40 people to attend my presentation, but over 100 people crowded in the room! It was standing room only!”
The response to R-Jet Tek’s systems was overwhelming. Sparks noted, “People were constantly asking for more information. I didn’t stop talking for two days straight! At the end of the last day one of the trade show attendees, Horacio from Magic Ink in Sao Paulo, came up to me and introduced himself. He said ‘I’ve seen all the machines and yours are the best in this show. They are the best made.’” The company plans to make ReciclaMaisExpo part of its annual trade event participation calendar.
