R-Jet Tek, the Colorado Springs-based leader in inkjet remanufacturing technology announced three new black and color machines at the World Expo in Las Vegas in September and created quite a buzz at the industry’s major event.
The new SelectJet fills cartridges under vacuum using peristaltic pumps. This machine has a unique feature that will supply 16 different types of ink by simply turning a knob. Users can have four different sets of inks loaded at any one time, making it easy to switch back and forth without having to flush your ink lines.
This flexibility in changing ink makes the machine a perfect fit for retail stores and operations that frequently change the cartridges that they are refilling. The SelectJet comes with a universal remote fill chamber to accommodate any inkjet cartridge and has the ability to prime and pressurize cartridges. There is no need for an air compressor.
The ValueJet includes cradles for the HP45/15, 26/29, and also comes with a Universal Remote Fill chamber. It offers precision filling by utilizing volumetric dispensing.
The EcoJet is R-JetTek’s most economical offering and has a fill chamber built in that will fill two cartridges at a time. The ValuJet and EcoJet both require air compressors. The machines complete a line of systems for every volume production requirement. They make refilling a simple process and keep maintenance to a minimum. They give remanufacturers options and features to further broaden their refilling capabilities. According to R-Jet Tek manufacturing manager and engineer for the new machines Mike Davis, ”We designed these new machines for the retail and franchise sales channels.”
