Cartridge Transport Clips       Rubber pad protects print head.                   Transport clips are an important part of refilling ink jets. These plastic clips snap onto the cartridge and protect the electronic print head from drying out and clogging the jet nozzles. This clogging occurs when the cartridge is removed from the printer, exposing the print head to air. Transport clips prevent this drying out and clogging by covering the print head with specially coated rubber pad. It is simple: refilling a cartridge with clear nozzles is quite easy, while ones with blocked nozzles will have problems.
