R-Jet Tek Ships 500th Fluidix Machine
Colorado Springs, CO --- May 30, 2000 ---- R-Jet Tek is
pleased to announce the shipment of the 500th Fluidix ink jet
cartridge processing machine made by the company. This particular
machine is a WorkStation 6.
According to VP-Sales Mike Warner, orders for the WorkStation 6 and 12
have been very strong followed by the UltraPro CX filling machines.
Customers want an affordable machine that will clean, evacuate and fill
the popular HP, Canon and Lexmark cartridges and the WorkStations do.
The cleaning system in the Fluidix WorkStations, MiniClean-Vac,
UltraClean-Vac machines is perhaps the most effective available for
cleaning the HP51629 cartridges. Hot water or special cleaning
solutions can be used in the machine to clean the cartridges. The
solution is internally heated to approximately 170 degrees Fahrenheit (at
the printhead) and pumped into the cartridge through the print nozzle
holes. This solution helps to wet and suspend the pigment solids
that form in the area above the printhead and below the screen inside the
cartridge. Once wet the solution can more easily be suspended and
then evacuated from the cartridge. If this particular area is not
clean, the cartridge will almost always fail the print quality tests.
