R-Jet Tek Moving into New Facility
Colorado Springs, CO --- The ink jet industry is growing
exponentially throughout the world. In order for R-Jet Tek to keep
up with the rapid pace, they recently built a new 12,000 square foot plant
that will house research and development, manufacturing and
administration. They are also installing new computers, software and
computer telephony.
According to Steve Johnson, R-Jet Tek President, the company has always
been cautiously optimistic with internal sales and growth forecasts and
capital expenditures. We never wanted overhead to preclude us from
product research and development. Therefore we leased manufacturing
and administrative space. However, we were getting too spread out
and lease rates were increasing so we elected to buy land and build.
Now we have the space and infrastructure to keep ahead of the
growth. Johnson said, "I wanted our new facility to be state
of the art so we had natural skylights installed, halogen lighting,
aromatic aircontitioning, exercise room and a full-fledged kitchen".
"We also allocated an area where we can offer customer training on
our FLUIDIX equipment and ink jet cartridge processing".
"Perhaps the most important aspect of the move is we will be able to
improve the service we offer to your customers," said Johnson.
