HP OfficejetProX printing issues

We receive quite a few calls from end users that are having streaking and light printing issues with their HP ProX printers.  A look at HP's website reveals they know of the problem but don't offer a solutions.  

I recommend that anyone that buys one of these printers also buys the extended 3 + years warranty from HP.   Next, some of the issues may be reduced or eliminated by using paper that has the ColorLok logo.  ColorLok Technology is the new standard for better print quality. 

The ColorLok standard of performance is for plain-paper output with inkjet and laser printers, as well as common copy machines. As such, ColorLok papers will provide consistent and reliable printing regardless of which machine is used within an office environment.
